Solidly made, and you get spare toggles
These feel genuinely strong and sturdy, very well made for the money. The braid is tight, the steel D-rings and buckles feel secure, and the paracord itself is clearly good-quality nylon.
The clever bit: you get extra nylon toggle threads (the little loops that pass through the camera's strap lug). That means you can leave a toggle fitted on several different cameras and quick-release the straps between them, rather than being tied to one body.
A tip to help your straps last longer
If your camera has a sharp or thin metal loop where the nylon thread passes through, I wonder if it's worth putting a little piece of electrical tape or something similar over that edge to cut down the friction. The nylon feels excellent and I trust it, but even strong cord wears against a sharp metal edge over time.
First impressions
Nicely braided and solidly put together, with metal D-rings and buckles that feel secure rather than flimsy. On arrival they look and feel the part, so they start at five stars. As always, I'll update the review if it requires!
Verdict
Five stars on arrival: a low-cost, well-made two-pack that does the simple job of keeping your camera safe on your wrist. I'll update this page over time as I put them through real use.
